Will it run my RV's air conditioner?

Most 13,500 BTU RV A/C units, yes. They typically draw about 1,800W running and 2,500–3,000W to start — inside the 4500ies' 4,500 starting watts, with room for a fridge and lights. A soft-start kit adds extra margin.

How long does it run on a full tank?

About 8–10 hours at 50% load on the 1.9-gallon tank. Lighter loads run longer.

How loud is it?

About 57 dB at 23 feet under typical load — quieter than a normal conversation, and within National Park Service campground sound limits.

Can I power my house with it?

Yes, through a transfer switch or interlock kit wired to the 30A outlet by an electrician. Never backfeed a wall outlet.

Can it run on propane?

Yes, if you choose Dual (Gas or LP) under Fuel Type at the top of this page. It runs on a standard propane cylinder with the included regulator hose, and propane stores for years without going stale. The Gas Only version runs on gasoline.

What's the warranty and return policy?

A 2-year warranty on manufacturing defects with U.S.-based support. You can return an unused generator in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery.

First, I really like my new 4500 generator. I haven’t actually camped with it yet but I have tested it with my camper and it looks like a really great fit.

One thing I didn’t like is when the generator is running the wheels rattle and make as much or more noise than the generator. I fixed this by removing the the wheels and putting a felt washer (actually it is a felt pad that sticks to the bottom of chairs with a hole drilled in center) between the machine and the wheel with the adhesive side to the wheel. So far it is working well and the rattling of the wheels has gone away. I just thought I’d pass that along in case your company wanted to consider something like that.

US charged me 200 for shipping and didn’t give me the correct date and they sent it back without me trying to get my generator

great little package light weight love the remote start ,second day started it up and had to leave the choke on for a while and now has a pulsating idle not sure what it is ? maybe someone has an idea of what it could be? ran perfect the first day !

Only used this once so far, but it is so quiet! and LIGHT! I can lift it. Only 25 lbs lighter than the old one, but between that and being so much smaller, it is very liftable. The pull handle is also verry convenient, easy to pull around. So far, I love it.

Starts easily, runs both my RVs air-conditioners. Quiet. Good price. A little concerned about the amount of glitter in the oil at 25 hour mark even with a careful break in procedure. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

We are very pleased with the specs of this generator! Opening the box and testing it at home gave us great hope for our upcoming camping trip - that the neighbors will no longer show us their IQ because of a loud generator, that we won't break our backs moving this cute little guy in and out of storage and travel mode, and we can have air conditioning again!!

This produxt is great. I bought this for my 50amp camper to run the A/c units and the camper. I have 2 15000 BTU A/C units and i put a soft start on each unit . And I can run both units and still have power for everything else. And best feature is it is small and light enough to put on the back of the camper by myself. This is Greaat!!! It runs my camper for about 8 hours on a tank of gas. Great for boonedocking. Last thing, this unit is very quite can actually run after quiet hours on a camp ground.
